We started the day by getting off the bus and played a couple of games to have the instructors learn our names while the teachers unloaded our gear for the next couple of days. One of the first things that were human environment interaction was the lodge because people had to make the lodge. One way that the environment changed us was how we dressed. Once everything was unloaded we got our stuff then got settled into our bunk rooms and ate some lunch, at lunch they talked about the rules and stuff like that. Afterwards the counselor's got us into our hiking groups and we talked about what we would be doing and how each day would go. They played another game to get them to know our names but after that we got straight into hiking. We kept on seeing things like bridges and all sorts of things that were made by humans. We were hiking along the riverside and along the way we sketched for geography! project then we set off to keep hiking. The group stopped to have a snack, sketch and play a game. Once we were done there we kept hiking. After we did the loop we headed back to the lodge and the boys (including me) played some football, ate dinner then went back out to play some more football. Once football was over we had an evening activity where we played a game using echolocation where that person was blindfolded and they said a word then a person that wasn't blindfolded repeated, then a person blindfolded would try and tag them while the other person was trying to avoid that. Afterward we went inside to get ready for bed, then we had story time and went to bed. This first day was fun, the second day was 3 times better.
